Verbier Bike Festival brings bike testing, rides and entertainment to Verbier and the Val de Bagnes in the Swiss Alps. The organizer traces the festival back to an e-bike event founded in 2019; it has since expanded to include other bicycle categories. Its 2026 festival village and bike tests ran from 13 to 16 August.
The festival village and bike tests
The festival combines a village setting with the opportunity to take bikes out into the Alpine landscape. Verbier – Val de Bagnes Tourism describes more than 40 specialist bike brands in the festival village, with mountain bikes and e-bikes available to try and industry representatives on hand to talk to visitors.
The organizer says the festival now welcomes all bike categories, extending its original e-bike focus. Its bike-test offering is intended to let visitors compare different bikes and equipment, with riding forming part of the experience as well as time spent in the village.
Rides, food and family activities
Bike tests sit alongside tours, challenges and gourmet rides. The local tourism office describes the gourmet experience as cycling combined with tastings of regional specialities and encounters with Valais producers. It also says the festival offers experiences for a range of abilities, from beginners to experienced riders.
Families have their own activities too. In the 2026 programme, the Kids Bike League was listed at Place Blanche, while a kids’ zone and entertainment were scheduled around Rue de Médran. That year’s wider programme also included social rides, a bike-maintenance workshop and a trial show.

The festival village is in Verbier, while the wider riding experiences explore Val de Bagnes. In 2026, the event village was listed on Rue de Médran and bike tests started from Verbier–Farinet. Those locations and the published daily programme describe that edition; check the organizer’s current information when planning another visit.
Tickets are offered online through the festival’s registration service. The registration page states that registration for 2027 opens in May 2027. Check the activity details and the updated programme before booking, since the festival includes several different kinds of ride and test experience.
