TransAndalus is a long-distance mountain-bike loop through all eight provinces of Andalusia. The itinerary was designed and created by volunteer mountain bikers from the region.
A circular journey across Andalusia
Turismo de Andalucía describes a route of more than 2,000 km divided into provincial sections. Its circular layout allows riders to choose a convenient starting point.
The provincial areas are Almería, Cádiz, Córdoba, Granada, Huelva, Jaén, Seville and Málaga. They provide a way to select part of the loop or link a longer journey across the region.
Choosing the scope of your trip
The regional tourism portal links separately to the TransAndalus material for each province. Begin with the sections relevant to your chosen start and finish, then use their route information to plan the riding days.
The same page lists Transnevada as a separate project. This guide covers the TransAndalus loop and its provincial sections.
