Sydostleden connects Växjö and Simrishamn over 274 km in southern Sweden. The itinerary moves from Småland’s forest landscapes towards the coast, offering a changing setting for a multi-day cycling trip.
Seven sections to combine
The official route is divided into seven sections. Riders can choose one, combine several or follow the entire journey between Växjö and Simrishamn.
The portal encourages starting from either the forested north, the southern coast or another point along the route. Cultural stops and local food provide themes for shaping the trip.
Maps and practical stops
The map planner shows places to visit and practical points including water supplies. GPX files and printed maps are available through the route website.
Its planning resources also cover public transport, hire and booking options, equipment and information about signs and surfaces.
