SPEZI, the International Special Bikes Show, takes place at Freiburg Exhibition Center on 24–25 April 2027. It focuses on cycles that offer alternatives to the conventional diamond-frame bicycle.
Different designs for different journeys
Cargo bikes, tandems, trikes, recumbents and velomobiles share the exhibition with folding bikes, rehabilitation cycles, senior bikes, touring bicycles, trailers and accessories.
The range covers family transport, commuting, leisure and touring, as well as designs for riders with different mobility needs. Test riding is a central part of the show, allowing visitors to experience these layouts directly.
Presentations and the Innovation Lab
The two-day programme includes presentations and an extended Saturday evening programme on the exhibition grounds. The Innovation Lab connects amateur engineers with professionals to exchange ideas about cycle design.
