Singletrack Glacensis brings together mountain-bike trails around towns and villages in the wider Kłodzko region of southwestern Poland. Its loops offer a choice between a local ride and a longer journey linking several areas. The wider project also includes trails on the Czech side of the border.

A network across the region

Singletrack Glacensis is a collection of riding areas rather than a single circuit. The route operator groups its descriptions by nearby towns and identifies access points where riders can begin. The broader Kłodzko region, or Ziemia Kłodzka, includes mountain areas beyond the Kłodzko Basin itself.

The Polish network includes areas around Bardo, Lądek-Zdrój, Stronie Śląskie, Międzygórze and Międzylesie. The project’s own overview also describes Polish–Czech trails, including facilities at Česká Třebová and Zdobnice. Treat the named loops as parts of a wider project when choosing where to ride.

Choosing a loop

The operator describes rides with different demands on fitness and technical skill. Near Bardo, Hrabiowska is suggested for outings with young children, while Wilcza is described as physically and technically demanding. Around Międzygórze, Pod Śnieżnikiem is another option recommended for rides with children; the longer Międzygórze loop requires more physical effort.

Near Lądek-Zdrój, the Trojak loop branches from Zdrój and includes stones and wooden features. Riders considering Ostoja near Jodłów should note the operator’s warning about two difficult sections with roots and stones, which can be walked.

Joining the riding areas

A longer outing needs more planning than simply adding loop names together. The operator describes paved or gravel links between some trails, including the connection between Zdrój and Stronie Śląskie and the link between Jodłów and Międzylesie.

Most of the network’s loops follow a single direction, but the operator identifies Dwie Przełęcze as a two-way section and asks riders to take care there. The trails around Brzozowie near Kudowa-Zdrój and Duszniki-Zdrój use different markings and are not directly connected to the main system.

Planning a visit

Międzylesie is one practical reference point: its municipal office places the Międzylesie loop in the forests above the town and railway station. The operator lists an access point near the allotments above the station and describes the loop as suitable for family outings.

Before setting out, consult the Singletrack Glacensis status page for each intended loop and check the access points and difficulty descriptions on its route page. The status list identifies open trails, closures and difficulties for individual loops. Read the trail rules and wear a helmet; the municipality also advises care throughout the ride.
