Organised by ADFC Bonn/Rhein-Sieg, rad+freizeit brings cycling destinations, travel providers and bicycle exhibitors together at the Rhein Sieg Forum in Siegburg. Its 26th edition is announced for 4 April 2027, with a focus on touring, gravel riding and bikepacking.
A fair for planning cycling trips
The 2027 edition is a one-day exhibition for people looking for cycling holiday ideas, multi-day tours and shorter excursions. ADFC Bonn/Rhein-Sieg expects 90 to 100 exhibitors, including cycling regions, tour operators, bicycle manufacturers, retailers and other cycling service providers.
The organiser says regions and exhibitors from Germany, France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg will be represented. Visitors can also explore offers from travel companies covering destinations further afield. The Bonn and Rhein-Sieg tourism associations plan a joint stand for visitors interested in trips around the region.
Gravel, bikepacking and wine regions
Alongside touring bicycles, gravel riding and bikepacking are announced themes for 2027. The organiser expects suppliers of bikepacking equipment and cycling clothing, making the fair a place to explore both destinations and the equipment associated with this style of travel.
A wine village is planned in the large hall, with German wine producers and surrounding regions presenting their offers. Bicycle leasing and sharing are another focus: leasing providers are expected among the exhibitors, and the talks programme is intended to explain bicycle leasing to consumers and businesses.
When and where to visit
The 2027 fair is scheduled for Sunday 4 April, from 11:00 to 17:00, at the Rhein Sieg Forum in Siegburg, near Bonn. The venue address listed by the organiser is Bachstraße 1, 53721 Siegburg.
Check the organiser’s visitor page before travelling for current admission and arrival information. The prices and detailed visitor arrangements shown on that page refer to the 2026 edition, so they should not be assumed to apply in 2027.
The people behind the event
The fair is organised by a volunteer team from ADFC Bonn/Rhein-Sieg. The local cycling association also uses its stand to introduce visitors to its wider activities, which include cycling advice, guided rides and bicycle courses.
For an idea of the fair’s range, the 2026 visitor programme listed destination presentations, bicycle and equipment exhibitors, travel talks and ADFC advice. Those details describe the 2026 edition; consult the organiser for the confirmed 2027 programme.
