Niebieska trasa górska is a municipal mountain cycling itinerary around the Ślęża massif near Sobótka. The route described by Gmina Sobótka begins at Przełęcz pod Wieżycą, circles Ślęża and returns by way of Wieżyca. It is a cycling itinerary distinct from the blue walking trail to Ślęża’s summit.

From Wieżyca to Tąpadła

Gmina Sobótka’s description begins at Przełęcz pod Wieżycą and takes the route around Stolna Góra, past Joanna spring and on to Rozdroże Holteia. From there it descends towards Przełęcz Tąpadła. These named points provide a useful sequence when examining the route before a ride.

The municipality identifies the itinerary as a mountain cycling route. The Ślęża and Sobótka mountain biking guide describes the same sequence under its blue MTB route, separate from its suggested rides to the summit of Ślęża.

Around Ślęża and back over Wieżyca

From Przełęcz Tąpadła, the published itinerary follows the black walking trail to an asphalt road. It then turns onto a forest road towards Bialskie Rozdroże, continuing around Ślęża through Przełęcz Dębowa.

The return described by the municipality goes to the summit of Wieżyca, then traverses left to meet the black trail and reach the starting place. The route therefore combines a circuit of Ślęża with a return over Wieżyca, rather than an ascent of Ślęża itself.

Planning the ride

Sobótka is a useful reference point for the outing. The local mountain biking guide lists parking at the municipal stadium and on Armii Krajowej street as possible starting places; the municipal description itself starts at Przełęcz pod Wieżycą.

Check the route and local conditions before setting out, and keep a current map available for navigation.
