Mistrzowska Pętla is a 22 km loop associated with Sobótka in Lower Silesia. Gmina Sobótka describes it as a repeat of a course prepared for a race in the Polish Road Cycling Championships. Its itinerary links villages around the Ślęża massif with the Tąpadła Pass before returning to Sobótka.
Following the championship loop
The municipality lists the circuit from Sobótka Sobotel through Strzegomiany, Będkowice and Sulistrowiczki to Przełęcz Tąpadła, the Tąpadła Pass. From the pass, its description turns right towards Sady, then continues through Chwałków and Sobótka Zach before returning to Sobótka Sobotel.
The complete loop is 22 km. Its sequence of villages and the Tąpadła Pass provide useful points of reference when preparing the ride.
A road cycling connection
The name reflects the loop's connection to competitive cycling: the municipal description says it repeats a route prepared for a Polish Road Cycling Championships race. Riders can use the circuit to explore the area through that sporting connection, with the pass and surrounding settlements providing the structure of the ride.
The municipality lists Mistrzowska Pętla separately from its blue and orange mountain bike routes. The published itinerary does not include an ascent of Ślęża's summit.
Planning a visit
Sobótka is a practical reference point for the loop, whose published itinerary begins and ends at Sobótka Sobotel. Check a current map and local road conditions when planning the ride.
For time away from the bike, the Ślęża Museum in Sobótka occupies a former municipal hospital at ul. św. Jakuba 18. Its permanent displays cover themes including earlier beliefs, Sobótka's history, and the people and nature of Ślęża. Check the museum's current visitor information when arranging a stop.
