Green Velo links Elbląg and Końskie across nearly 2,000 km of eastern Poland. The route passes through Warmińsko-Mazurskie, Podlaskie, Lubelskie, Podkarpackie and Świętokrzyskie, offering a long-distance framework for exploring different regions.
Signs and cyclist facilities
Orange metal signs carry the route logo and a black bicycle, with additional orange information boards and directions at junctions. Designated cyclist service areas provide resting points, while cyclist-friendly businesses offer services along the route.
Starting from Końskie
The southern endpoint is at Ogródek Jordanowski in the municipal park, near Partyzantów 3 in Końskie. A cyclist service area marks the local starting point.
The approximately 12 km local section runs along Partyzantów and Browarna streets, then through the Browary area with ponds and resting places. It continues along Aleja Katyńska and towards Sielpia.
Końskie to Sielpia and beyond
Sielpia has another cyclist service area on Spacerowa Street. Its pedestrian-and-cycle bridge overlooks the bathing area. From the roundabout, the onward route heads towards Radoszyce on an asphalt surface.
The Końskie tourism page describes this southern approach and links to the Green Velo portal for the wider journey.
