Joy Ride’s Małopolska festival brings mountain biking and a bicycle fair to Białka Tatrzańska, with Kotelnica Białczańska as its base. The organizer has announced the festival’s return for 20–22 August 2027; the detailed programme is still to be announced.

A festival with an exhibition at its centre

Joy Ride describes the Białka Tatrzańska event as a gravity-focused festival, with a bicycle fair at its centre and riding at the local bike park. It is a separate festival location from the organizer’s Kluszkowce event, which also has its own dates.

The exhibition is a reason to visit even without entering a race. For the first Białka edition in 2026, Joy Ride announced at least 20 exhibitors and a test fleet including conventional and electric bikes. The organizer named Giant, Scott, KTM, Santa Cruz and Bafang among the brands expected to offer equipment. Exhibitors and test bikes for a future edition should be checked separately.

Riding and competition

The festival’s setting gives it a strong mountain biking identity: the organizer places its base at Kotelnica Białczańska and describes the local bike park as a place for both riding and competition. Visitors can combine time around the exhibition with watching or taking part in the sporting side of the festival.

At the 2026 debut, Joy Ride reported more than 500 riders and ten competitions on the Kotelnica Gravity Park trails. Those events included downhill, dual slalom and a whip contest.

Planning a visit

Joy Ride has announced 20–22 August 2027 for the second Białka festival. Its announcement says the schedule, competition list and registration opening will follow. The separate timetable page still identifies its detailed listings as the 2026 programme, so check for the new edition before making plans around particular activities or exhibition hours.

The organizer recommends considering accommodation early because August is peak season beneath the Tatras. Check the festival’s current information for exhibition access, test-ride conditions and registration before travelling.
