Fiets en Wandelbeurs Gent takes place at Flanders Expo on 20–21 February 2027. The Belgian edition combines cycling and walking destinations, equipment, independent travel advice and hands-on testing.
Routes, advice and presentations
Experienced travellers answer questions about routes, destinations and accommodation in the information areas. More than 80 talks and workshops cover subjects including GPS navigation and new touring routes.
Pelgrims Plein brings together advice on pilgrimage journeys, while shared pavilions introduce smaller travel organisers. The Reizigerscafé offers a place to exchange stories and join a pub quiz.
Bicycle testing and family activities
A one-kilometre indoor circuit accommodates touring bikes, city bikes, e-bikes and speed pedelecs. The Tandem Pavilion offers tandem testing and advice.
Visitors also have access to the simultaneous E-bike Challenge. Hicle Family provides a children’s cycling course and play area in Hall 1.
Additional services and screenings
Fietsambassade Gent offers free bicycle checks, with materials charged if needed for small repairs. Sunday’s European Outdoor Film Tour screening requires a separate ticket.
