CYCLE WEEK Zürich brings bicycle brands, test rides and cycling culture to two sites in the city. The organizer has announced the 2027 main event, including its expo, for 28–30 May.

One festival, two exhibition areas

CYCLE WEEK describes its expo as a meeting place for bicycle brands, manufacturers, distributors and tourism destinations. Its range covers everyday mobility, sport and leisure: visitors can explore city and cargo bikes alongside e-bikes, children's bikes, mountain bikes, gravel bikes and road bikes. Accessories, equipment, cycling trips and destinations are also represented.

The Zurich exhibition and test opportunities are divided between Europaallee and Campus Brunau. Europaallee is the place to explore products and services across everyday cycling, recreation, sport and tourism. The Family Zone on Lagerstrasse focuses its test rides on city, cargo and children's bikes.

Testing and the wider programme

At Campus Brunau, the emphasis is on testing mountain, gravel and road bikes. The organizer recommends arriving in cycling clothes if you plan to ride there. Its website also provides a brand directory, test-bike directory and test-card registration link, useful starting points when planning which bikes to try.

For 2027, the organizer describes a three-day main event combining the expo and bike tests with shows and contests. Public pre-events begin earlier in the week. Zurich is one of two CYCLE WEEK host cities in 2027; Lausanne has its own dates in June.

Dates and opening hours

The Zurich main event runs from Friday 28 to Sunday 30 May 2027. The published main-event hours are Friday 15:00–20:00, Saturday 10:00–20:00 and Sunday 10:00–17:00. The organizer says some shows and contests continue after the expo closes, and bars and food stands stay open later.

Pre-events are listed separately from Tuesday to Thursday, 17:00–22:00. Check the organizer's programme when arranging specific activities, as the main-event hours and the pre-event schedule serve different parts of the week.

Getting between the sites

Festival Europaallee is at Europaplatz, Europaallee 2, 8004 Zürich, beside the Sihlpost exit of Zürich main station. Campus Brunau is at Saalsporthalle, Giesshübelstrasse 41, 8045 Zürich. The organizer says the route between Europaallee and Brunau is signposted.

CYCLE WEEK recommends arriving by bike or public transport because car parking at both sites is limited. From Zürich main station, tram 13 or the S4 train serves Saalsporthalle for Brunau. Bicycle parking is available at the Europaplatz bike garage and at Saalsporthalle. Public parking at Saalsporthalle is closed during the festival; the organizer suggests Brunaupark or the Sihlcity car park for visitors driving to Brunau.
