BikeUP is a cycling and active-mobility project by Fiere di Parma. In 2026, it brought together three related events: Travel Days at the Salone del Camper from 12–20 September, and the outdoor Festival and Cargo Days at Parco della Cittadella on 19–20 September.
Festival and test rides
The 2026 BikeUP Festival used Parco della Cittadella as an outdoor exhibition and testing space. The organizer listed bicycle brands including Atala, Bianchi, Muli and Riese & Müller, alongside tourism and cycling-service exhibitors.
Visitors could try urban, gravel and electric mountain bikes on free or guided rides, with accompanied tours outside the park also on the programme. Workshops covered basic maintenance, safety and riding technique. A family area offered protected courses and activities for children, while refreshment areas provided a place to pause.
Cargo bikes and special cycles
BikeUP Cargo Days shared the park setting on 19–20 September 2026. Its dedicated area covered cargo bikes for family journeys and shopping, as well as cycles for work and last-mile deliveries.
The organizer described free and guided tests of cargo and special-purpose cycles with instructors, plus guided cargo-bike tours and advice. The programme also listed supported adult test rides with children.
Travel Days at the Salone del Camper
The 2026 Travel Days ran from 12–20 September inside the Salone del Camper at Fiere di Parma. BikeUP’s area was listed in Hall 2, stand K055, with an exhibition of bicycles and accessories for active travel, gravel and electric mountain biking.
The programme combined free and guided tests with travel talks, workshops and shows. Topics included itineraries, bikepacking and trip preparation. The organizer listed urban and inclusive e-bike test areas, as well as talks on cycling destinations and accessible tourism.
Visiting the 2026 edition
Festival admission at the park was free and did not require a ticket. Test rides required registration on site and a valid identity document. Workshop places were limited, and the organizer recommended booking in advance. The published programme noted that times and activities could change.
For the park weekend, the listed opening hours were 08:30–18:30 on Saturday and 09:30–18:30 on Sunday. The park was reachable on foot from central Parma, by bicycle and by public transport.
Travel Days followed the Salone del Camper’s ticketing arrangements, so the free Festival admission should not be assumed to cover the exhibition-hall event. Its listed opening hours in 2026 were 09:30–18:00 daily.
