Bike Kingdom Testride brings bike brands and riders together in Lenzerheide for an outdoor testing event. Its 20th edition took place from 4 to 6 September 2026, with the event area by the Rothornbahn and a programme built around trying bikes on real terrain.

A show made for riding

The event grew from an idea developed by Lenzerheide Tourism and mountain bike magazine RIDE: let visitors try new bikes on trails as well as see them at an exhibition. The first testRIDE took place in 2007. The former testRIDE Lenzerheide adopted the Bike Kingdom Testride name in 2020.

For the 2026 anniversary, Bike Kingdom reported that more than 50 bike brands presented models and products. Its exhibitor list included Giant, Norco, Orbea, Pivot, Santa Cruz, Scott, Specialized and Yeti, alongside helmet, component and accessory brands. The event village also offered local food, and children had a dedicated skill centre.

Test routes and the 2026 programme

Bike Kingdom described seven signposted test-route categories: downhill, enduro, cross-country, gravel, road, tech e-bike and e-bike. The routes could be reached with or without mountain lifts, and a lift ticket could be added when buying an event ticket. The tech e-bike route was a new feature for the 2026 edition.

The anniversary programme also included guided rides, workshops, social rides and community gatherings. A digital event map identified exhibitors and their positions, while helmet rental was introduced for the first time. These details describe the 2026 edition; check the organiser’s current information before planning a later visit.

Getting to the test area

For the 2026 event, the organiser’s travel page directed public transport users to the Lenzerheide/Lai Rothornbahn PostBus stop, immediately beside the Rothorn valley station and test area. Public car parks in Lenzerheide were paid.

The same guidance noted that only a limited number of bicycle stands were available for bikes brought from home and advised visitors to use a lock. Check the current event page for the arrangements, tickets and programme of the edition you plan to attend.
