Bike Festival Wien, also known as the ARGUS Bike Festival, brings bicycle exhibitors and a participatory programme to Vienna’s Rathausplatz. The organizer announces the next festival for 10–11 April 2027.

A bicycle exhibition in the city

The festival combines a bicycle fair with tests, shows and activities. DIE EVENT COMPANY – Event4you GmbH and Radlobby are named on the festival website as the organizations behind the event. Its exhibitor information describes a fair with approximately 100 exhibitors, alongside cycling tourism, a bicycle flea market and an exhibition of historic bikes.

The fair is a place to explore bicycle brands, models and cycling destinations. According to the organizer, visitors can also speak directly with manufacturers and find Vienna bicycle shops among the exhibitors. The 2026 exhibitor list included Brompton, Canyon, Giant and Bosch eBike Systems.

Test rides and the 2026 programme

The organizer describes an e-bike test area where exhibitors present their products and rides begin at their stands beside the test track. The festival’s 2026 programme also included cargo-bike tests and a public e-mountain-bike course, giving visitors several ways to experience bikes beyond the exhibition stands.

The 2026 edition paired the fair with riding demonstrations, bicycle checks and practical workshops. Its programme listed sessions on puncture repair, adjusting rim brakes and setting up derailleur gears. These details describe the past edition; visitors planning for 2027 should check the organizer’s programme for that year.

Families and the RADpaRADe

In 2026, the children’s cycling area at Josef-Meinrad-Platz offered courses suited to different ages and abilities. Children could try bikes, balance bikes and scooters; loan helmets were available, and families could also bring their own bikes. The activities included a workshop for children aged six and over and a riding course for younger children.

The children’s area used a QR-code check-in in 2026, which parents or accompanying adults could create on site or in advance. Arrangements for a later edition should be checked with the organizer.

For 2027, the organizer lists the RADpaRADe on Sunday 11 April, with gathering from 11:30 in front of the Burgtheater and a 12:00 start. It is a separate part of the festival programme for people who want to join a group ride.

Planning a visit

The 2027 festival is announced for Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 April at Wiener Rathausplatz, in front of Vienna City Hall. The organizer’s site provides the exhibition and programme information; check it before travelling for the current timetable and participation arrangements.

The festival homepage still presents a detailed 2026 programme alongside the 2027 dates. Use the year shown beside an activity when making plans, particularly for individual test sessions, children’s activities and performances.
